Security
Our festival security ishere to watch over the festival grounds and to prevent entrance of unauthorized personnel into restricted areas. All members of thefestival security are clearly marked and dressed in festival securityuniforms. Should you witness any kind of abuse from the festivalsecurity, please report to the festival organizers.
Please follow theinstructions of the festival security to make the festival go easy.
Once outside the festivalarea, please follow the instructions of the state or municipalpolice.
The rights of the festivalsecurity include following: checking the validity of your festivalwristband, personal search at the entrance (festival visitors are notallowed to bring dangerous or restricted items into the festivalarea), banning visitors with aggressive behavior, drug dealers,merchandise dealers without a valid concession.
The festival security ishere to help people with special needs and to protect the visitorsand the artists from any possible danger.
Transport
Czech Republic is acountry in Central Europe. The capital Prague is a major airport withconnection to most major destinations around the globe. There is ahighly functional network of busses and railways covering the entirecountry. Rock for People festival site is approximately 100kilometers from Prague. All payments in Czech Republic are onlypossible in CZK. Major shops and supermarkets accept usual creditcards and some of them accept payments in EUR. Please make sure youhave enough local currency with you. The 4th and 5thof July are national holidays and due to this reason manyinstitutions (such as banks) may be closed.
Transport - by car
Coming from Prague, takeD11 highway to Hradec Kralove, turn left at the end of the highwayand drive northbound over Libisany, Brezhrad and Svobodne Dvory -direction Nachod and Wroclaw. Take first to the right at the fourthroundabout (direction Hradec Kralove centrum) and look for OBIsupermarket. Turn left then.
The coordinates of thefestival grounds are: 50° 15' 11.99"N, 15° 50' 42.99"E
There is a large guardedparking ground just outside the festival site. The parking fee is 50CZK per day. Please note that we are not liable for your belongingskept in your car during the festival.
The traffic in the closeneighborhood of the festival area will be limited. Please follow theroadsigns and instructions of authorized personnel.
The prices of parking on the festival grounds are following:
Passenger car - 150,- CZK
Van - 500,- CZK
Bus- 2000,- CZK
Transport - by trainand bus
Train is the far mostconvenient way of getting to the festival. Hradec Kralove is a citylocated on the main railway line No. 020. The journey from Praguetakes 1 hour and 40 minutes. The trains depart from Prague Masarykovo nadrazi, There is about one train every hour. There are also special festival trainsdeparting from Prague.
There will be specialbusses from the Hradec Kralove railway station to the festival site.Please look for Rock for People bus-stand once outside the railwaystation building.
Taking pictures andvideos inside the festival area
Please note that we areresponsible for the fact that the festival performances will not berecorded (neither audio nor video) by anyone without a specialpermit. It is not allowed to bring professional cameras or recordingequipment into the festival area. The right to decide whether aparticular item may or may not be called professional is entirelyupon the festival security workers. Experiencing the festival livewill definitely be more enjoyable than recording it.
Information
There will be a 24-hourinformation stand to provide information about the program, services,and transport. Feel free to ask our info people about anythingregarding the festival! The INFO stand will also serve as lost andfounds.

Internet
There is a large tentwhere the festival visitors may use a high-speed Internet connection.
Aside from music
You are probably coming toRock for People because of music. But there certainly are cases youmight need a little break. Therefore we have arranged a whole varietyof things for you to do. There are sports activities, Internet tent,theatre and cinema performances, chill-out zones and many other.
Recycling
There´s no need toworry that Rock for People will have negative impact on ourenvironment. Just like every year, there will be a beercup buy-outand large containers for sorted waste. We kindly ask all visitors torecycle and help to keep our environment healthy.
Food
There are all sorts offood opportunities inside the festival area including vegetarianfood, local cuisine, Indian, Thai, Mexican or Chinese specialties. Drinking water is distributed exclusively by the festival organizers for 20 CZK per 1,5 liter bottle. Being the choice of food and drinkwithin the festival area more than rich, there is no food and drinkallowed to take into the festival site. Thank you for understanding.
Beer
GAMBRINUS brewery is the official beer partner of the 2010 Rock for People.
First aid
There is a first-aid tentinside the festival area - see the festival area map. In case of aninjury or health problems outside the festival area please call 155or 112.
What shall I take withme?
Most festival visitorsspend 4 days on the festival. Therefore we recommend to take yourhealth insurance card, valid ID, festival ticket, reasonable amountof money, head cover, medicine, sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuit,raincoat, toilet paper, tent and a sleeping bag.
Things such as jewelry,large amounts of money or luxurious equipment are not recommended.

Printed festivalprogram
Printed festival programwill be distributed free at the festival entrance, in case of loss itcan be obtained at the INFO stand. This program includes necessaryinformation about the artists, daily festival schedule, festival sitemap and other useful information.
Accommodation
There is a large campingsite right outside the festival area. The camping site is lamplit andnon-stop guarded. The price of camping is 50 CZK for all four days. Each visitor will also have to pay a 50 CZK deposit for a plastic bag for trash. This deposit is refoundable when you´ll be leaving the festival site. Making fire, using cookers, fireworks and manipulation with open fire is not allowed within the campinggrounds. There are no cars allowed into the camping grounds. Thefestival organizer is not liable for any loss or damage of anypersonal belongings kept in the camping grounds.
Toilets and showers willbe located close to the camping grounds, same as certainopportunities to buy food and drink.
Hradec Kralove is a townof approximately 100,000 people. There are many possibilities ofaccommodation in the city, however, the festival does not organizeany accommodation of this type. In case you want to live in a hotelwe advise you to contact hotels directly.
Drinking water
To prevent speculationswith the price of drinking water, drinking water is distributedexclusively by the festival organizer. The price is 20 CZK per 1,5liter bottle.
Tickets
Tickets can bepurchased online via www.ticketstream.cz The festival area is large and tickets will most probably beavailable at the festival gate. All payments are only possible inCZK. Please make sure you have enough local currency with you.
Lost and founds
There is a luggagedepository within the festival area. The festival organizer is notliable for any damage or loss of personal belongings left in thecamping ground or in the festival area. In case you lose something,please report to the INFO tent.
The city of HradecKralove
Hradec Kralove isthe capital of Eastern Bohemia region. It is a town of approximately100,000 people. There should be all imaginable service available.Please notice, that many institutions (such as banks) may be closedduring the festival for the 4th and the 5th ofJuly are national holidays.
