Accept no imitations!  Lyapis Trubetskoy of Belarus and the Bulgarian rockers D 2 are no wannabes attempting to copy the style of globally known greats, but masterful musical heroes in their own countries. “We are thinking of Lyapis Trubetskoy as a partial compensation for the absence of Persiana Jones, who have unfortunately canceled their tour and thus dropped out of our program as well,” says dramaturgist Petr Fořt about the last confirmed foreign bands. 

In an effort to motivate you to get your tickets soon, we're officially announcing the arrival of several bands from different countries: Death by Stereo, Horse the Band and Laco Deczi with his pals from Celula New York. We will reveal more bands this week – you can look forward to something special from many different genres!

After last year's stellar selection of top-notch performers, the organizing committee has taken yet another leap forward in choosing the bands for the 2010 line-up. This year, Rock for People will not only feature the legendary Prodigy, the critically acclaimed EDITORS and born-again SKUNK ANANSIE, but also one of the most coveted bands out there today – MUSE. That's right – prestigious festivals like Glastonbury, Rock Werchter or Rock am Ring aren't the only places you will be able to see the magnificent British trio – Rock for People in Hradec Králové has joined their ranks.

They have won nine ‘Best Live Act’ awards in the past 5 years and now they are coming to play the Rock for People Festival! After several months of negotiation we are delighted to finally confirm this year’s number one headliner: MUSE. It will be their first live appearance in the Czech Republic.

Few days after the festival we found lost festival T-shirts in „medium“ size, that you required and we could not supply your demand. We thouhgt it was sold out. Some festival „elf“ played with us and delivered one lost box to us. So if you are interested in the official festival T-shirt, just write your order to the promoter address (pavla@ameba.cz).
